Andy Burrows is renowned as the former drummer of British indie outfit Razorlight and New York City rockers We Are Scientists. Subsequent projects have seen the artist form a band alongside his brother Ben and release three solo albums, as well as establishing a joint collaboration with Tom Smith from the Editors as Smith & Burrows, and drumming/co-writing alongside Tom Odell. The musician has also had success composing scores for both film and television.

Burrows’s recent partnership with acclaimed author Matt Haig sees the release of the album Reasons to Stay Alive. We sat with him at The Stag pub in Hampstead to discuss his latest record, his numerous future projects and why he enjoys working in so many different situations.
