Northern Irish punk-pop group Ash brought the London leg of their European Teenage Wildfire tour to London’s Roundhouse in support of their latest album Teenage Wildlife: 25 Years of Ash on Saturday of this week. Rescheduled for the second time, Covid having got in the way, the gig finally came to fruition and the fans were raring to go.

The new record makes a symbolic journey through the band’s recording career, from their exuberant debut Jack Names the Planets through to the likes of BuzzKill from 2018’s top-20 album, Islands, alongside 13 Top 40 singles, such as Girl from Mars and Goldfinger. They were reunited onstage with previous band member Charlotte Hatherley (1997-2006), who joined their number for the encore songs.

The Upcoming’s Virginie Viche was at the Roundhouse to shoot the occasion.
