“Go louco!”: Experience Brazilian Carnival vibes at SushiSamba this weekend

SushiSamba is back with its extraordinary Carnaval Weekender celebration from Thursday 24th February to Sunday 27th February, to mark Brazil’s most extravagant party and ultimate expression of music, dance and revelry. Guests will experience live performances nightly, including hip-swaying samba dancers, booming batucada drummers and DJs spinning Brazilian grooves, complemented by Carnaval-inspired menu specials and refreshing caipirinhas, shaken tableside.

Late night, the celebration continues with back-to-back Casa de Samba Bloco Parties at SushiSamba Heron Tower. Inspired by the essence of Rio Carnaval and its legendary Bloco street parties full of free-spirited revelry and creative costumes, SushiSamba’s Blocos will unfold with bold colour, vibrant culture, and high energy rhythm as parading musicians playing everything from sax to bongos take over the space. The highlight of the weekend is sure to be Saturday’s colourful Baile da Arara costume party, encouraging guests to unleash their inner “Carmen Miranda” and create their very own Brazilian-inspired look; from feathers and dazzling sequins to Amazon-inspired animal prints and tropical allure, anything goes. Baile da Arara guests will dance the night away to DJ beats, live drummers, flash mob dancers and more.

SushiSamba’s Carnaval Weekender concludes with a laid back Bossa Nova Brunch on Sunday 27th February, featuring the restaurant’s signature a la carte menu, Carnaval specials, and live music.
