Parisian bar Little Red Door to take over Adam Handling’s Eve Bar on 7 July

Adam Handling’s Eve Bar will welcome Parisian Little Red Door – currently ranked number 21st in World’s 50 Best Bars – for an exclusive takeover. On Thursday 7th July, Londoners will have the rare opportunity to try drinks from Little Red Door’s new menu Flourish, expertly made by the team who created them.

Little Red Door has featured in the list of 50 Best Bars eight of the ten years it has been open, whilst becoming a pioneer for sustainable practices within the drinks industry. The bar’s previous menu, Grounded, championed the use of local products and lay the groundwork for the development of the Little Red Lab, where the ingredients used in the cocktails are grown and made. Flourish is an evolution of this idea and places the producer, produce, and product journey at the centre of the cocktail.

During the takeover, Little Red Door will serve a concise selection of cocktails from Flourish including: Raspberry (LRD Raspberry Vermouth, Tanqueray 10, H Theoria Electric Velvet Liqueur, Syrup), Saffron (Johnny Walker Black, Baldoria Orange Wine Vermouth, Chouchen, LRD Saffron Tincture), Citrus (LRD Citrus Liqueur, Gooseberry Sake, Tanqueray 10, Verjus) and Olive (LRD Olive Spirit, Tanqueray, Broad Bean Cordial, Soda).

Eve Bar will be also be serving cocktails from its new cocktail menu, V, which draws on five key spirits: Agave, Juniper, Grain, Malt & Corn and Sugar Cane. Hay Honey! (Tanqueray 10, Hay Honey Syrup, Aperol, Passion Fruit Puree, Lemon Juice, Soda), Pink Is for Boys (Johnnie Walker, Baldoria Sweet, Vermouth, Anise, Fennel, Campari) and High Level (Shiso & Basil infused Tanqueray, Italicus, Luxardo Maraschino Liquer, Cadello 88, Sour Cherry, Lime).

Guests can also try Perfect Three Cherries, Eve’s signature twist on a Perfect Manhattan, which includes all parts of the cherry. Cherry stones are lightly toasted to bring out almond notes, then infused into sweet vermouth. Cherry blossom-flavoured dry vermouth, adds a floral touch and three cherries – steeped in whiskey – with a blend of spices provide the perfect boozy garnish.

Sharing a passion for sustainability, the two bars are excited to be collaborating in London for the first time, bringing a unique offering to Londoners for one night in July.
