“It celebrates two people really pushing each other to be better versions of themselves”: Mena Massoud on Hotel for the Holidays

With Christmas time around the corner, the avalanche of festive films comes tumbling onto our screens, offering a chance to hibernate amidst the feel-good vibes of a yuletide story. Hotel for the Holidays is a brand-new endearing, romantic comedy from Brad Krevoy that embraces this season of goodwill with a heartwarming tale of love, friendship and the true meaning of Christmas.

The story follows the aspiring manager of the Hotel Fontaine, Georgia (Madelaine Petsch), as she pursues a secret ambition to own her own resort. This project tangles her up in both a web of lies and a romantic triangle resolved only when she chooses to follow her own heart. Set against the stunning backdrop of New York City, the hotel offers its eclectic guests a beautiful sanctuary for the holidays and a chance to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.

The Upcoming had the chance to speak with Mena Massoud as he told us the story behind Hotel for the Holidays, his role in the film as lovelorn chef Luke and what it was like working with such a brilliant ensemble cast.
