In the gaming world, some individuals achieve fame for their big wins. For most people, gaming is just a fun activity to engage in on websites such as irishcasinosites on  their nights off from work or school. If that sounds like an individual’s situation—or if gaming just happens to be something that interests them—there is good news: Netflix has plenty of new shows dedicated to gaming! In fact, there are so many new Netflix shows about gamers and gaming that it can be hard to know where to start. So here’s a list of the top recommendations:

Money, Explained

Money, Explained is a series that first aired in 2021. It discusses money and its importance in daily life. The show focuses on the role of money in everyday life, as well as its role in the economy at large. As the series starts, viewers will learn that not only has money become an integral part of life, but it also serves as the base of the economy. Without currency, there would be no trade and thus no economy! This project offers a slightly different viewpoint: instead of focusing solely on the current financial system (i.e., banks), it also looks at other factors like credit cards or casinos that may have played roles in shaping financial management today. Although there are no roulette tips for newbies here (they can be found online), there are plenty of things to learn. Anyone interested in learning about currencies, trading systems, budgeting when gaming, banking practices and pitfalls should definitely check out this TV series because it covers all these topics and more!

Hurts like Hell

In 2022, Netflix released this true-events-inspired Thai drama series about illegal gaming and match-fixing in Muay Thai boxing. There is much to discover in this series: from illegal Thai betting to organising fights. The drama describes people’s fates, their motivations and the events that occur unexpectedly in their lives as a result of betting on sports or other ensuing circumstances.
According to some participants in the project, illegal betting is conducted, and fights continue to be arranged so that gamers can earn easy money. This show sheds light on dark secrets within the Thai boxing industry, where athletes, trainers, commentators, coaches and others provide perspectives from their point-of-view about how things work behind closed doors – which often includes fixing matches, among other things like drugs, cheating, etc.

High Score

High Score is a Netflix 2020 documentary series that tracks the evolution of video games from arcade machines and online games to cybersports. The series covers their popularity with Space Invaders, Pac-Man and Mario Bros, Atari’s replacement cartridges, Nintendo’s breakthrough NES console and its impact on gaming culture worldwide. Moreover, it will touch upon Dungeons & Dragons board games, which led to new genres of video games such as first-person shooters. As the documentary starts, interviews with developers about their careers in the gaming industry during its golden age (the 1970s-1990s) are featured.

The show explores how these early pioneers created hit titles like Street Fighter II or Mortal Kombat while also giving an inside look at some of today’s most popular eSports competitions, including The International Dota 2 Championships. This docu-series offers much to learn about the games that shaped the gaming world as it is known today.

Bad Sport

Bad Sport is a documentary series aired in 2021 on Netflix. Throughout this series, the narrators focus on scandals related to modern sports. Athletes, coaches and law enforcement officials discuss six real-life cases involving large-scale scandals in sports.
The six episodes of this project tell the story of American road racer Randy Lanier. A prominent drug trafficking case, a figure skating scandal during the 2002 Olympic Games, the biggest corruption scandal in Italian soccer in 1980, and an incident at Arizona State University’s basketball game all involved him. Former NBA player Stephen Smith, along with police officials and coaches who handled investigations into these cases, make up some of the key figures in this series.

Florida Man

The series begins with a man attending a Gamers Anonymous meeting, sharing his story of how he lost everything in life. The series revolves around a former Philadelphia police detective, Mike Valentine (Edgar Ramirez), whose gaming addiction has spiralled out of control. In the year following that meeting, he has stopped gaming but now works for a gangster named Moss Yankov (Emory Cohen). He tries to get his life back to normal and avoid involvement with crime – but it is not easy when one’s boss is connected with criminals all over town.
Florida Man differs from other shows on Netflix. If viewers enjoy plots where people deal with their daily lives while trying not to get caught up in anything illegal – even though sometimes those things happen anyway – then this suspenseful show is for them. There are numerous characters, which can initially make things confusing, but once the viewer starts watching regularly, everything becomes clearer.

Conclusion

This article should have been helpful in finding new series for viewers to watch on Netflix. Whether someone is looking for something light-hearted or serious, there is something here for everyone. While it might be tempting to keep rewatching classics, there are some great shows out there that can help keep viewers entertained.
