Netflix reveals teaser trailer and release date for Richard Linklater’s Hit Man starring Glen Powell

In an intriguing blend of reality and fiction, Netflix’s latest offering, Hit Man, tells the story of a conventional professor who uncovers his latent talent for impersonating a contract killer. Set to captivate UK audiences, the film will premiere on Netflix on Friday 7th June 2024 and will be preceded by a limited theatrical release.

Helmed by director Richard Linklater, who also co-wrote the script with star Glen Powell, Hit Man is a narrative concoction of deception, romance and mistaken identity. The movie’s teaser trailer has just been released, giving a tantalising glimpse into the quirky and suspenseful world the characters inhabit.

Powell, known for his diverse roles, both produces and stars in the film. In a recent interview, the actor reflected on the challenges of combining various genres and characters into a single film, stating it was a complex feat that he managed to execute with apparent ease. Director Linklater also praised Powell’s collaborative spirit and work ethic, likening his contribution to that of a valuable team player in sports. Catch the teaser trailer below.
