Tasting menus and Happy Hour Offer at INKO NITO, Robatayaki Dining Experience

INKO NITO, unconventional Japanese robatayaki restaurant, has re-launched new tasting menus and a Happy Hour offer. Created by the visionary behind the renowned ROKA and ZUMA, Rainer Becker, the concept located on the lively Broadwick Street in Soho aims to captivate a younger audience with its playful and innovative approach to traditional Japanese cuisine, infused with Korean influences.

At the heart of the restaurant there is a theatrical robata grill, while curated soundtracks add to the buzzing neighbourhood vibe. The menu, designed for sharing, features bold and approachable dishes such as the INKO TACO with salmon and yellowtail tartare, wasabi, and sesame; Prawn Toast with yuzu mayo and chilli; and Fried Pork Dumpling with mushroom ponzu sauce. Highlights from the robata include a Korean Spiced Lamb Skewer with pickled cucumber and Chicken Tsukune with shichimi pepper.

Adding to its allure, INKO NITO introduces signature dishes like the Yellowtail Sashimi, Japanese Leaves, Grapefruit and Citrus Dressing; Bone Marrow with smoked soy, garlic toast, and shallots; Japanese Breadcrumb Fried Chicken with peanut, chilli garlic yoghurt; andKorean Fried Cauliflower Maki, chilli sauce, sesame. The culinary offer is now complemented by two new tasting experiences: the Premium Tasting Menu and Tasting Menu priced at £59.50 and £49.50 respectively, each featuring a selection of robata dishes, hot snacks, sushi, sashimi, and dessert. For those in search of a quick yet flavour-packed meal, the Express Inko Menu (£27) is available Monday to Friday, and a sharing-style brunch (£35) takes centre stage on Sundays, with an option for free-flowing wine (£49.50).

The drink offerings include housemade cocktails served on tap, with favourites like the INKO Spritz and Palomita, alongside limited-edition seasonal specials, sakes, beers, wines, and sparkling wines. Celebrating the spring season of 2024, INKO NITO introduces as well a Happy Hour, inviting guests to enjoy selected cocktails for £6, wine and beer for £4, and snacks for £7.

The restaurant’s interiors, designed by Los Angeles-based Studio Mai, reflect a warm, laid-back concept that pays homage to the convivial atmosphere of dining in a street market. The unconventional seating arrangement offers guests a dining experience with varied views of the robata grill centrepiece.
