Sichuan restaurant Noodle & Beer, in Spitalfields, will launch doggy-friendly dining days in collaboration with British pet food brand Hide & Seek London. The month-long event, titled Paws & Bowls, will take place every Sunday from 15th March to 5th April at the restaurant’s original site, offering a bespoke menu designed specifically for dogs and their owners.

Noodle & Beer was founded by Xiaoxiao Wang and specialises in handmade noodles and Sichuan-inspired dishes. The brand has established a reputation for combining regional Chinese culinary traditions with a contemporary dining atmosphere. Running on four consecutive Sundays, their latest pop-up will feature a Build Your Own Doggy Bowl menu, allowing pet owners to customise meals for their dogs using a variety of pet-safe ingredients.

The selection begins with a salt-free vegetable base of finely chopped steamed broccoli. Dog owners can then select from a range of protein options, all supplied by Hide & Seek London, including freeze-dried chicken breast, duck breast and premium goose liver. Additional protein choices can be combined for a more varied meal. To finish, customers can add a garnish of crushed Hide & Seek Rainbow Biscuits, which include ingredients such as goat milk, pumpkin, cranberry, blueberry and barley grass.

For dessert, the pop-up will offer a Rainbow Puppuccino, described as a small serving of whipped Anchor cream topped with a Hide & Seek Rainbow Biscuit. A special bundle, including one base, one protein, one garnish and one puppuccino, will be available for £15.

A dedicated area inside the Spitalfields restaurant will be reserved each Sunday for Paws & Bowls guests, so that dogs and their owners can dine together. In addition to the in-house experience, curated freeze-dried gift packs from Hide & Seek London will be available at both the Spitalfields and Chinatown branches. The team explains the aim is to provide a shared dining experience for humans and their canine companions, celebrating “paw-rents everywhere – and the firm belief that pets are family too”.
