Kapara introduces Eastern Mediterranean weekend brunch menu

Soho vibrant dining destination Kapara has just introduced a captivating three-course brunch menu that promises to take patrons on a culinary journey through the Eastern Mediterranean, featuring a blend of Tunisian, Syrian, Israeli, and Greek flavours. Available on weekends and bank holidays from 11am to 4pm, this new offering seeks to replicate the success of its sister restaurant, Bala Baya, and is created by Executive Chef Eran Tibi, whose rich heritage and extensive travels inspire the menu.

The brunch experience at Kapara is designed for sharing, encouraging diners to indulge in generous mezze, sumptuous mains, and delightful desserts, all set against a lively summer soundtrack. The menu boats dishes such as Shawarma Fries with a mix of preserved lemon and twelve spices, Mini Mess featuring blackened aubergine with oregano, tahini, pomegranate molasses, and lychee, and Pink Tarama with smoked roe and extra virgin olive oil.

Main courses introduce new tasty combinations to the table, the likes of Harissa & Hake served with homemade brioche and hake tempura, and a choice of Salt Baked Celeriac or Lamb Kofta Shakshuka. A standout is the Pita French Toast, loaded with golden sultanas, cherry compote, banana tempura, and rose and honey labneh. Dessert options include Gramps Cigar, brick pastry, gianduja marquise, blood organge, kumquat, chocolate soil and smoked tuile, and Sticky Treat, with medjool dates, black treacle, Baharat Chantilly and a Baharat crumble.

Complementing the food, Kapara’s range of beverages comprises spicy sumac cocktails and homemade Gazoz sodas, available with and without alcohol, and in flavours such as cherry & black pepper; orange, chilli & coriander; and strawberry & balsamic. The restaurant’s atmosphere, along with its enclosed sun trap terrace, makes it the perfect spot for group gatherings and weekend brunches.

Kapara, which opened its doors in 2023, spans two floors and includes a secret terrace. This special gem in the heart of Soho is committed to create dishes that are both classic and creative.
