London music collective EVERYTHING and nothing to host debut gig for Dogs Trust

On Thursday 20th March 2025, the London-based music collective EVERYTHING and nothing will host their debut gig at New River Studios, located at 199 Eade Road, London N4 1DN. The event, kicking off at 7.30pm, aims to raise funds for Dogs Trust, a charity dedicated to the welfare of dogs. The evening promises an engaging mix of indie-pop-rock music with elements of psychedelia, all while supporting a charitable cause.

The fundraiser gig will feature performances by EVERYTHING and nothing, alongside supporting acts including Balint Eckhardt, Wicker Wife and The Plummers. These artists are expected to deliver a range of sonic experiences, described as “sonic landscapes formed by community that transport you to another dimension.” The lead performers, known by their stage names Starfish and Iguana, are part of a collective that blends a variety of musical influences – from 1950s rock and roll to Motown and pop punk – with a distinctly British twist.

EVERYTHING and nothing’s music explores diverse themes such as polyglots, polyamory and polymers, encapsulating their philosophy of playing “EVERYTHING… and nothing.” Their lyrical content oscillates between straightforward subjects and more obscure reflections on the darker aspects of the world.

The gig comes in the wake of last year’s debut single HYPERnerve, recent release Symbiotic Us, about “challenging ourselves to have patience, hold tight and see what comes. Those who do may be pleasantly surprised…”, and ahead of their debut album landing later this year, working title Love Grief Despair. The collective credit producer Pete Godly for bringing their sound into the world, “EVERYTHING and nothing would be nothing without the musical engineering guru Pete, who manages to make even though most half-baked demo production-worthy with his trickery in mixing and mastering.”

The event marks a significant milestone for EVERYTHING and nothing, not only serving as their public debut but also as an opportunity to engage with the community and support Dogs Trust. The choice of Dogs Trust as the beneficiary highlights the group’s commitment to animal welfare and their desire to make a tangible impact through their music.

Tickets for the event are available here, and those interested in supporting the cause or enjoying an evening of unique music and good vibes are encouraged to attend. The group also invites other musicians to get involved with their community, fostering a collaborative environment for music creation and performance.

This event not only offers a platform for new music but also underscores the power of art in supporting charitable causes, demonstrating how community, creativity and compassion can intersect in meaningful ways.
