Cotswolds Distillery launches two-for-one tours to celebrate inaugural English Whisky Week

The Cotswolds Distillery is participating in the first-ever English Whisky Week, which runs from 19th to 27th April, by offering a two-for-one deal on its distillery tour and tasting experience. The event, which takes place at the distillery’s site in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), aims to bring together whisky enthusiasts, local distilleries, and the broader whisky community to celebrate the heritage and future of English whisky.

The Cotswolds Distillery is located approximately 75 miles from London and is accessible by both train and car. The guided tour lasts around 90 minutes and includes access to the still house and cask warehouse. Visitors are shown the production process for the distillery’s range of spirits, with the tour culminating in a tasting session featuring the full range of whiskies, gins, and liqueurs. Among the spirits available for sampling are the Cotswolds Signature Single Malt Whisky and the Cotswolds Dry Gin. Following the tour and tasting, guests have the option to dine at the on-site café or purchase products and souvenirs from the distillery shop.

Last year, the Cotswolds Distillery was recognised as the most popular whisky distillery in the UK and Ireland for the second consecutive year.

The Cotswolds Signature Single Malt Whisky, which launched in 2017, was the first whisky to be distilled in the Cotswolds. It is produced using locally grown barley, featuring a rich and fruity profile, with notes of honey, butterscotch, and Seville orange marmalade. The whisky is available from major retailers including Morrisons, Waitrose, Tesco, and Amazon, with a recommended retail price starting at £46 for a 70cl bottle.

English Whisky Week is intended to highlight the growth and diversity of English whisky, with distilleries across the country hosting events and activities throughout the week.
