Champagne Lanson launches Wimbledon-themed events across London for summer 2025

Champagne Lanson, the French champagne house established in 1760, has announced a series of Wimbledon-inspired events and products in London for the summer of 2025. Running alongside the championships, initiatives include a limited edition range of gift boxes, summer bottle pouches and pop-up experiences at prominent city venues to offer tennis fans and champagne enthusiasts new ways to enjoy the tournament.

From 30th June until 13th July, Champagne Lanson is collaborating with pastry chef Paula Stakelum (global director of chocolate and pâtisserie at Red Carnation Hotels – and better known as Paula Pastry) for a special pop-up at the Rubens Hotel’s Leopard Room. The event will feature a bespoke dessert created by Paula Pastry paired with a glass of Lanson’s Le Rosé Création, aiming to celebrate the atmosphere of Wimbledon in a luxury setting as part of a broader partnership between the producer and Red Carnation Hotels.

The limited edition Wimbledon gift boxes are available for purchase through Ocado, inspired by the grass courts of the All England Club and featuring the tournament’s signature green, with navy blue and pink labels distinguishing the Le Black Création and Le Rosé Création champagnes. According to the company, all materials used for the boxes are now sourced from FSC-certified forests and are plastic-free, reflecting Lanson’s commitment to sustainability for 2025.

For those seeking a portable option for outdoor drinks, Lanson’s insulated summer pouches are designed to keep champagne chilled for up to two hours. There are two versions, available exclusively at John Lewis and both featuring practical carry straps and a minimalist design: the Le Black Création pouch is priced at £50.00, while the Le Rosé Création retails for £55.00.

The 1864 Rooftop Bar & Kitchen at John Lewis on Oxford Street is also participating in the summer campaign. The terrace, described by organisers as an “oasis” above the busy shopping district, is serving chilled Champagne Lanson alongside seasonal canapés. The space is decorated with summer foliage and offers visitors a view of the tennis, catering to groups of friends or families seeking an outdoor experience during the tournament.
