Jason Clarke leads high-stakes Alaskan thriller The Last Frontier – Apple TV+ drops first teaser

Apple TV+ has unveiled a gripping first look at The Last Frontier, a new 10-part drama thriller starring and executive produced by Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty), set to debut globally on Friday 10th October 2025.

Created by Jon Bokenkamp (The Blacklist) and Richard D’Ovidio (The Call), the series follows lone US Marshal Frank Remnick (Clarke), whose peaceful outpost in the Alaskan wilderness is thrown into chaos after a prison transport plane crashes – releasing a group of violent fugitives. As he fights to protect the town he’s vowed to serve, Remnick begins to suspect the crash was no accident, but part of a deadly conspiracy with far-reaching consequences.

The ensemble cast includes Dominic Cooper (The Gold), Haley Bennett (The Magnificent Seven), Simone Kessell (Yellowjackets), Dallas Goldtooth (Reservation Dogs) and Tait Blum (For All Mankind), alongside Academy Award nominee and Emmy winner Alfre Woodard (Clemency).

Produced by Apple Studios, the series features writing from Bokenkamp, D’Ovidio, and Laura Benson (The Big C), with direction from Sam Hargrave (Extraction) and contributions from Glenn Kessler (Bloodline) and Albert Kim (Nikita).

The Last Frontier premieres with a two-episode launch on 10th October, with new episodes dropping weekly until 5th December 2025.
