Cygnet unveils alcohol-free botanical spirit with adaptogens, launching at Marks & Spencer this December

Cygnet, the luxury gin brand co-founded by classical singer Katherine Jenkins OBE, is preparing to release a new non-alcoholic botanical spirit, Cygnet Infinity, this December, exclusively at Marks & Spencer stores and online. Designed for consumers seeking alcohol-free alternatives during the festive season and into the New Year, the release aims to cater to a growing demand for mindful drinking options.
Cygnet Infinity is a 0% ABV spirit formulated with a blend of 22 botanicals, mirroring the distillation process used in the brand’s alcoholic variant, Cygnet 22. The alcohol is removed following distillation, and the liquid is then enhanced with adaptogens – natural substances believed to offer functional benefits. These include lion’s mane, Siberian ginseng, chrysanthemum, schisandra, hibiscus and rosehip, which are associated with cognitive focus, stress relief and antioxidant properties. The product is intended to be consumed as a stand-alone spirit rather than a direct imitation of gin.
“As someone who has always loved the ritual of enjoying a gin, yet often abstains in the days before a performance, I know how limited the choices can feel for those of us seeking something truly special without alcohol,” said Jenkins. “With Cygnet Infinity, we wanted to create more than just an alternative –a spirit that carries the same elegance, depth, and authenticity of Cygnet 22, but crafted with functional botanicals and adaptogens. It’s a celebration of conscious luxury: a drink that tastes real, feels considered and redefines what it means to share a moment, glass in hand, without compromise.”
Cygnet was launched in 2023 by Jenkins and her husband, filmmaker and NYU professor Andrew Levitas, and has since won a string of awards. The company positions itself as a disruptor in the traditionally male-dominated spirits industry, with an emphasis on sustainability and refined sipping experiences. Distilled at the Copperworks Distillery in Swansea, Wales, the core collection includes Cygnet 77, Cygnet 22 and Cygnet Welsh Dry Gin. Cygnet Infinity will retail at £32.00 and is packaged in the brand’s signature glass decanter, which is designed to be both aesthetically distinctive and environmentally conscious, reflecting their commitment to ethical production.
