Momoa and Bautista go head-to-head in action comedy The Wrecking Crew

Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista lead The Wrecking Crew, a high-octane action comedy set to stream globally on Prime Video from 28 January 2026.

The film sees the two stars play estranged half-brothers, Jonny and James, who are reluctantly reunited after their father’s unexpected death. As they investigate what really happened, long-buried secrets come to light, old wounds are reopened, and the duo find themselves caught in a conspiracy far bigger than either of them imagined.

Directed by Ángel Manuel Soto (Blue Beetle) and written by Jonathan Tropper, The Wrecking Crew blends explosive action with sharp humour. The supporting cast includes Claes Bang, Jacob Batalon, Stephen Root, and Morena Baccarin.

Set against the vibrant streets of Hawaii, the film looks to combine family drama, chaotic sibling dynamics and plenty of wreckage.
