Two of French gastronomy’s most decorated chefs will come together at Pavyllon London on Wednesday 29th April for a single-evening collaborative dinner. Yannick Alléno, who holds 18 Michelin stars across 21 restaurants worldwide, will host Claude Bosi – the Lyon-born chef behind London restaurants Bibendum, Brooklands and Joséphine – for a six-course menu priced at £145 per person.

Pavyllon London, which is Alléno’s first UK establishment, was awarded a Michelin star in February 2024, just six months after opening. Located within the Four Seasons Hotel on Park Lane, the restaurant will be reconfigured for the evening in the style of a bouchon-style bistro, drawing on the informal, convivial dining format associated with Lyon – the city where Bosi grew up and where his family operated a traditional bouchon.

Bosi’s culinary background spans several decades and multiple Michelin-starred establishments. Raised in Lyon, he trained in the city before moving to Paris, where he worked at L’Arpège under Alain Passard. He relocated to the UK in 1997, earning a Michelin star at Overton Grange before opening Hibiscus, which went on to hold two stars. After moving the latter to London and its eventual closure in 2016, Bosi opened Claude Bosi at Bibendum in 2017, earning two Michelin stars within seven months. His more recent openings include Joséphine, with sites in Chelsea and Marylebone, which appears to have directly inspired the bouchon aesthetic chosen for the Pavyllon evening.

Meanwhile, Alléno’s wider portfolio includes six Michelin stars across his three restaurants at Pavillon Ledoyen in Paris – three at Alléno Paris, two at L’Abysse and one at Pavyllon – making it the most starred independent establishment in the world, according to the Michelin Guide. His restaurant Le 1947 at Cheval Blanc in Courchevel also holds three stars. In July 2025, Alléno received the International Outstanding Achievement Award at The Cateys.

The chefs’ collaboration this April forms part of the Park Lane restaurant’s ongoing Counter Culture series, which stages collaborative evenings with guest chefs. The experience affords diners the opportunity to observe the chefs working at the restaurant’s central open counter, and both Alléno and Bosi will visit tables during the evening. Seating is available from 6pm to 8.30pm, with up to 30 seats at the counter allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Other guests will be seated in the main dining room, which also offers views of the kitchen.

The menu, which uses seasonal produce throughout, has been designed to bring together Bosi’s Lyonnaise culinary heritage and characteristically understated yet technically refined cooking with Alléno’s modern French approach, known for its use of extraction and cryoconcentration techniques. An optional wine pairing, selected by the restaurant’s sommelier, will also be available on the night at an additional cost.
