Immersive dining and singing concept Vocalé Mayfair launches this weekend

A new immersive dining experience, Vocalé Mayfair, will open at Ristorante Frescobaldi in Mayfair this Saturday, combining Tuscan-inspired cuisine with live musical performances delivered by staff who double as professional vocalists. The concept, created by hospitality entrepreneur Çağlar Kural in partnership with restaurateur Levent Buyukugur, aims to merge fine dining with West End-style entertainment in a format where guests are encouraged to participate in the performance.

The venue will operate two weekend shifts. Vocalé Mayfair Brunch will run every Saturday and Sunday from 1pm, offering a family-friendly lunch service priced at £60 for adults and £38 for children. The menu includes three courses with tea or coffee, alongside kids’ options such as pizza, pasta and roast chicken. Vocalé Mayfair: The Party, the evening dinner version, will run every Saturday from 8pm and is priced at £95 for a four-course menu featuring dishes including Aubergine Parmigiana, Courgette Arancini, Braised Beef Cheek, Rigatoni with Black Truffle and Pistachio Tiramisu. Bar seating will also be available for those wishing to attend the performance without dining.

The concept does without a fixed stage. Instead, performers move through the dining room alongside a live band and professional vocalists, with chefs, waiters and hosts gradually revealing themselves as singers as the meal progresses. The repertoire spans singalong classics, musical theatre numbers and party anthems, including numbers such as Dancing Queen, Bella Ciao and Freed From Desire. Guests are invited to sing, clap and dance along, in keeping with the venue’s tagline, “Be the chorus”.

Buyukugu is also behind Tom’s Kitchen, Hovarda and Ristorante Frescobaldi. The team at Vocalé Mayfair has drawn on international experience in hospitality and live entertainment to develop the format, which is intended to introduce a new model of participatory dining to the London market.

“We wanted to create something where guests don’t just watch, they feel compelled to join in,” said co-founder Kural. “It starts as dinner, but very quickly becomes something else entirely. By the end, the whole room is singing together.”
