Cé La Vi opens atop Paddington Square, bringing modern Asian dining and skyline views to West London

Cé la Vi, a modern Asian restaurant and bar, has opened at Paddington Square, occupying what is now the highest rooftop space in the area. The venue combines a dining room, cocktail bar and outdoor terrace, offering panoramic views across the capital alongside a menu that draws on pan-Asian culinary traditions. The opening adds to the growing roster of high-rise hospitality venues across the city and marks another addition to the Paddington Square development, a new commercial and leisure hub in West London.

The restaurant’s food menu features a range of small plates, sushi and main courses informed by Japanese, Chinese and Southeast Asian cooking. Among the dishes on offer are Wagyu Beef Gyoza and Black Cod Croquettes, while the sushi selection includes Chu-Toro Hamachi Maki and Softshell Crab Maki. The kitchen places emphasis on precise preparation, with dishes designed to be shared across the table.

The dessert list leans towards tropical and aromatic flavours. Options include Kalamansi and Mango, Coconut Three Ways and a Vanilla and Bay Leaf Panna Cotta. The section is intended to complement the lighter, citrus-forward elements of the savoury menu.

Meanwhile, behind the bar, which runs in parallel to the kitchen, there’s a cocktail list that incorporates Asian ingredients and flavour profiles. Signature drinks include the Sichuan Paloma, the Lychee Moon and the Imperial Cosmo. The venue also stocks a wine list sourced from a range of international producers, as well as a selection of sakes intended to pair with the food menu.

Cé la Vi is part of an international group that operates similar venues in cities including Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai and Tokyo, each typically located in landmark high-rise buildings. The London outpost follows the brand’s established format incorporating modern Asian cuisine and a cocktail-led bar, situated in an elevated location.

The restaurant is now open to the public, with bookings available for both the dining room and the bar terrace.
