Perfection: beauty with a moral stance

Perfection: beauty with a moral stance

Launched in spring of this year, Perfection by Xenca is a British health and beauty company with a strong stance against animal testing.

Designed for women who are concerned about the quality of synthetic chemicals in some mainstream make-up brands, Perfection make-up is a natural and organic alternative. Every product is not only GMO free, but clinically and dermatologically tested, to ensure that even sensitive skin doesn’t suffer from the ingredients.

Research suggests that the average woman puts several hundred different synthetic chemicals onto her skin every day.  We wanted to offer a safe and natural alternative to women who love to wear make-up but don’t want to look glamorous at the risk of their health,” explains the project manager and co-founder Caroline Goleczka.

Using paraben-free formulations, the powders and creams are 100% natural and therefore perfect for all skin types. Rich in mineral salts, vitamin B and proteins, the make-up range naturally hydrates and revitalises the skin and comes in a range of sweet almond oil, shea butter and apricot flavours. Foundations, mascaras and eyeliners are also available in the range

The packaging is also environmentally friendly, striving alongside the brand’s ethic that beauty should be kind on your skin, animals and the environment, too.
