Glow in the dark jeans: LouLou jeans

Glow in the dark jeans: LouLou jeans

We all know coloured jeans spelt death for blue denim and it was our favourite look throughout last spring and summer. It seems they just got way cooler. There are now ranges that will make you look like a rocking goddess at any party.  We are talking about the LouLou jeans from the fashionable house of Hudson Jeans. The LouLou jeans are a skinny cropped fit reminding us of the old world tuxedo trousers.

They are said to be inspired by Yves Saint Laurent’s muse, the legendary LouLou de la Falaise. She was a big influence in the design of Le Smoking. The thing that makes these tuxedo inspired jeans spectacular is the glow in the dark neon strip that comes to life under black light. Fashion predictors say they are going to be massive for Spring/Summer 2012.

The LouLou jeans are about art and contrast of colours and is said to draw inspiration from tuxedo style, phosphorescent street art, graphic elements and architecture.

The jeans are available in Selfridges and come in three colour schemes: dark navy with phosphorescent orange, burgundy with phosphorescent pink, and olive with phosphorescent yellow. At £250 they’re not cheap, but they certainly have sexy written all over them.

We sure are curious. Are you?
