MAC by Request: Vote to bring back discontinued favourites

MAC by Request: Vote to bring back discontinued favourites

MAC Cosmetics are famed for their celebrity collaborations and unique collections, but their latest venture will have long-time fans of the make-up brand giddy with glee. In October this year, MAC will launch a very special limited edition collection MAC by Request, bringing back long-lost products from the past. Want to know the best part? It’s created entirely by MAC lovers.

Fans of the beauty brand have the exclusive chance to bring back their favourite discontinued lipstick, lipglass and eyeshadow from collections past, by voting for their most mourned shade on MAC’s Facebook page. The selection includes a variety of amazing cult classics, from the deep cherry-red Rocker lipstick from the 90s, to last year’s bestselling Emancipation Lipglass.

Even MAC’s senior artists are getting in on it, declaring which shades they want to see return. Debbie Finnegan says “2012 needs to be the year of the Moxie,” while Cher Webb deems neon pink Candy Yum Yum “a definite showstopper!”

The top nine products will be available for purchase for a limited time in October 2012, exclusively online. Voting ends 30th March, so hurry to bring back your favourite!
