Topshop make-up celebrates fifth anniversary

Topshop make-up celebrates fifth anniversary

We all remember when our favourite high-street brand launched their make-up range, but we totally didn’t know it was all of five years ago! Oh, how time flies when you’re a beauty lover.TopshopAnniversary

Over the past five years Topshop make-up has really made a name for itself. From collaborations with Louise Gray, to Bloggers and fashionistas loving the brand, it has been a true success. Even celebrities such as Alexa Chung and Kate Moss, have been known to carry around a Topshop product in their make-up bags.

To mark half-of-a-decade, Topshop launched a range of limited edition packaging products earlier this month. Still with the iconic spots and stripes motif, this range is decorated in a rose gold palette; the colour everyone is still talking about.

The collection itself consists of everyone’s favourites, the most in-demand products and shades, but in a new hue. There are 15 products in total – here are some of our favourites.

Lips (£6)

It wouldn’t be Topshop beauty without their lipsticks – all of us can’t stop buying them. There are five in the limited range, in shades Rio Rio, Innocent, Nevada, Ohh la la and Beguiled. Each represent the highest sold colour, of each of the five years. So there is a great mixture of nudes, bolds and berries.

Nails (£6)

Also in five shades, of course, are their signature polishes. Topshop are known for their large range of nail lacquers and boy, it must have been hard to narrow down the favourites. The chosen few are in shades Heart of gold, Parma violet, Green room, Boy next door and Adrenalin – an eclectic mix of glitters, lilacs and greens.

Cheeks (£7)

Topshop’s cream blush in shade Head over heels, is the perfect spring blush in a coral shade. We have heard a lot of good things about this product and look forward to making it a staple for ourselves this summer.

Face (£9)

Oh the glow pot, everyone’s gold at the end of the rainbow! This lovely cream highlighter, is not only popular amongst customers, but also with Topshop’s employees. Hannah Murray, the brand’s consultant stated that this was her desert island must-have and we couldn’t agree more.

Eyes (£7)

This black kohl Magic Liner is the cherry on top of the cake. Also revamped with the rose gold finish, the felt tip ended liner will make your flicks more precise and perfected.

We think the collection is a great way to mark the occasion for an ever-growing brand and market. Topshop’s makeup is affordable, good-quality and damn right pretty. Let’s grab some before they’re gone!
