Domino’s to showcase international chicken range in Shoreditch fun day

Domino’s Pizza will showcase its new global-inspired chicken range, Chick ‘n’ Dip, with a public event at Protein Studios in Shoreditch next Friday. The special occasion aims to introduce the new menu while also raising funds for charity, with guests invited to make donations using spare foreign currency.

The Chick ‘n’ Dip launch, taking place at 31 New Inn Yard, will feature three sessions throughout the day: 12-2pm, 3-5pm and 6-8pm. Entry is free, but attendees can bring unused foreign notes or coins as a form of donation. According to the organisers, most Brits have foreign currency left over from their holidays just sitting in a drawer, and all proceeds from these donations will go directly to the Teenage Cancer Trust.

There will be a range of themed activities inspired by the international flavours of the chicken range. Attendees can expect Wrestle Mexicana, a live Mexican wrestling show by Lucha Britannia, Katsu Curry Karaoke, offering a Tokyo-style neon-lit karaoke booth, and Buffalo Hot Shot, a Wild West-inspired shooting range. These immersive zones are designed to reflect the global influences behind Domino’s latest menu offering.

The special day at Protein Studios represents the company’s latest effort to  encourage charitable giving and interactive experiences. The studios, who specialise in hosting creative pop-ups and cultural gatherings in Shoreditch, will serve as the venue for this one-off occasion.

For more information or to attend, members of the public are encouraged to arrive during the public sessions (no tickets needed) and to bring any leftover foreign currency for donation.
