The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2018: An interview with the top chefs

Last Tuesday the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list 2018 was revealed in Bilbao. Massimo Bottura’s restaurant Osteria Francescana in Modena was voted number one for the second time in three years. A fourth British restaurant joined the list, James Lowe’s Lyle’s from Shoreditch at number 38. The best UK entry is still The Clove Club (33rd), followed by Lyle’s, The Ledbury (42nd) and Dinner by Heston Blumenthal (45th); Clare Smyth of Core was voted the world’s best female chef. We took all the restaurants and put them on a map.
