Boundary Rooftop reopens for summer with Mediterranean menu and Analog Culture arts programme

Boundary Rooftop & Bar, at the top of boutique hotel Boundary Shoreditch, is reopening for summer 2026 with a refreshed Mediterranean-led menu and a new cultural programme developed in partnership with creative initiative Analog Culture. 

The venue has 360-degree views across Shoreditch, the City and East London, and sits above a restored Victorian warehouse hotel known for its 17 individually designed rooms and suites. The terrace and glass Orangery at the top are centred around a century-old olive tree and seasonal planting, creating a space perfect for both daytime dining and evening gatherings.

A Mediterranean-focused menu

This season’s food offering is built around charcoal cooking and sharing dishes that draw on Mediterranean and Middle Eastern influences. The small plates selection includes Grilled Skewers with vegetables, halloumi and tzatziki, Calamari with Chilli, Lime and Chermoula Mayonnaise, Rosemary Focaccia with balsamic vinegar and Cretan olive oil, King Prawns prepared in garlic and white wine, and Baba Ghanoush with Cumin Coconut Yoghurt and Pomegranate Molasses.

For those looking for a more substantial meal, there’s Bavette Steak with Tomato Salad and Skin-on Fries, Chicken Milanese with Rocket and Lemon, a Greek Salad and a 35-day Salt-aged T-bone Steak intended for sharing. Desserts include mango semifreddo with coconut and lime, and a tiramisu made with mascarpone, savoiardi and whisky. The drinks programme features rosé, seasonal cocktails and magnums.

A partnership with Analog Culture

A big part of the summer offering is the presence of Analog Culture, a creative initiative founded as a response to what it describes as “the growing dominance of algorithm-driven content” in the arts. The partnership will bring a programme of DJ sets, live music performances and visual art exhibitions to the rooftop across the season, with the full schedule yet to be announced.

Analog Culture describe their mission as “restoring value to the human process of creation and championing artistic integrity in a world often shaped by mass production and digital shortcuts”. The organisation works across music, photography and the visual arts, supporting practitioners who use hands-on and process-led methods, including analogue photography techniques such as film, manual lenses and darkroom development.

Musically, their focus is on live performance, and they advocate for creative models that allow artists to retain a greater share of their work. In the visual arts, they support communities of painters and makers engaged in physical, tactile creation.

The rooftop programme will feature rotating DJ sets and live performances alongside exhibitions, with the backdrop of panoramic views across East London, aiming to create “an intimate, immediate and human experience”.

Boundary Rooftop is open Tuesday to Saturday from 12pm to 11pm. It is an over-18s venue, operates on a cashless basis and does not permit dogs.
