Precise cutting and tailored designs is what emerging designer Emesha Nagy is best known for. Quickly grabbing mass media attention in 2006 after graduating from London College of Fashion, her graduate collection was showcased at the Swatch Alternative Fashion Week, really helping Emesha to stand out from the crowd.

Working with prestigious designers such as Jasper Conran and Vivienne Westwood, Emesha gained all the knowledge and inspiration she needed to launch her own label in 2009. Her debut collection was received with phenomenal reviews and Emesha Nagy’s name was described as ‘one to watch’.

Going on to exhibit at London Fashion Week’s Estethica in February 2010, the brand is promptly gaining global attention. With her designs being showcased in London, Helsinki, Vancouver and Tokyo, Emesha was soon to receive the Fashion Press Week and Mischcon de Reya’s Fashion Discovered Award, dedicated to find the UK’s brightest young designer. Her name keeps on getting bigger.

Mixing strong, contemporary designs with a use of high quality fabrics and finishes for spring/summer 2012, Emesha portrays an innovative yet stylish approach to dressing, proving she is worthy of her growing success.

Sharp detailed tailoring and precisely crafted details make these pieces different and a little bit special. Her distinct mix of masculine and feminine shaping, Emesha has created a signature ‘boy meets girl’ look, making the fashion world sit up and notice. The colour palette is monochrome with subtle hues of pastel blues and greens giving off a discrete summery feel.

Emesha Nagy’s name is definitely one to watch.
