Taking a look at Studded and Stoned

Charli Brown is taking on the Internet community and definitely winning. Her jewellery boutique, aptly named Studded and Stoned, launched in August 2010 and is the first online, UK-based boutique specialising in stocking international designers not readily available in the UK.

Brown states she was: “inspired greatly by the move to all things digital”, and has drawn great inspiration from the recent boom in fashion blogging, as well as from her own personal style. This unique boutique is sure to cause a ripple in the fashion world, with Brown’s extensive knowledge of fashion styling and her love of writing proving a brilliant combination for a successful online store.

Studded and Stoned is described as an “online community”, not only an online jewellery store, as it also contains blogs and style galleries and combines these elements together to create a successful business. You can instantly tell that Brown gains inspiration from everywhere she looks, from blogs to the streets of London, so it only seems a natural progression for Studded and Stoned to go digital.  Brown explains: “The store came about because I view a lot of foreign blogs with great jewellery that we just can’t get here, I got so fed up with not being able to buy it”, and therefore Studded and Stoned was born.

Labels stocked on the website come from all across the globe, including Leviticus, Mawi, Erin Wasson and Victoria Bramwell to name but a few. From metal body armour and skull rings to oversized slogan necklaces and rings, there is a wide range of stock and definitely something for everyone.
