AMBRE shows how going green is great!

AMBRE shows how going green is great!

Many people think that handmade, chemical-free, 100% pure, raw-plant based skincare products are not really obtainable. But since AMBRE began creating its skincare range, organic beauty has never been so accessible.

“Aromatic” is the word that springs to mind when talking about the AMBRE bath collection and with the cold dreary weather we are having, what better way to cheer yourself up than with a warm bubble bath? Here at The Upcoming we are loving the Rosemary, Thyme & Mint Invigorating Herbal Bath Oil, it relieves aches and pains as well as leaving you feeling physically and mentally relaxed. We also adore the fact that its blend of safflower, macadamia and castor nourish our tired, worn out winter skin leaving it with a baby-soft feel.

The herbal bath scrubs and soaps — such as the Geiranger Fjord Invigorating Soap — would also complement any aromatic, refreshing or  just plain fun bath time!

The AMBRE body collection is all about protection and restoration of your skin, and in these rainy months, with your skin exposed to the battering wind and washed out by the rain, protection and restoration are essential! My personal favourite is the Mango & Carrot Seed Extra Concentrated Hand Cream. When AMBRE say “concentrated” they are not joking; you need only a tiny bit, which will last practically forever!

This little pot is full of vitamins, glycerides and stearic acids which all provide healing of the skin — great for our hands. For healing of the skin in general, why not check out the Thirteen Fresh Oils Extra Nourishing Body Moisturiser or the Cupuacu & Nut Oils Rich Moisturising Body Butter?

Now that we have given you the top products to relax you while moisturising your skin, let us look at the top products for your face. The Rhassoul Clay Face Mask reminds me of holidays in Morocco and promises to rejuvenate, cleanse and nourish — the added minerals give your skin resilience whilst drawing out toxins.

Once you have rejuvenated, why not hydrate your face with the fruit and nut oils of the Pumpkin Seed and Kokum Face Cream. For daily use, it would be good to check some of AMBRE’s facial serums and soaps.

If we haven’t convinced you of their greatness yet: nearly all AMBRE products are gentle on the  most sensitive of skin and are suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Go on, check out the full range of AMBRE products here. You know you want to…
