Elite London announce 2012 search for model stars of 2013

Elite London have announced the launch of the Elite Model Look UK Competition 2012 – the model search that launched the careers of Cindy Crawford, Gisele Bundchen and model of the moment, Nyasha Matonhodze.

The competition is Elite’s key scouting tool to discover, nurture and mentor young modelling talent. Winners and finalists from previous years have gone on to work for Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Topshop and for publications, including Italian Vogue and Wonderland.

This year, Elite Model Look UK have partnered with Look magazine and Look beauty, as well as Capital Shopping Centres as their Official Location Partner in their tour of the main UK cities.

Elite Model Look UK scouts will be travelling up and down the country from May 5^th, looking for the next model superstar. 24 finalists – 12 girls and 12 boys – will be selected for a weeklong model bootcamp in July, in preparation for the grand catwalk finale, attended by top industry experts and celebrity guests, when judges will announce one male and one female winner.

The winners will receive once in a lifetime opportunities as prizes – the females will take part in The Elite Model Look World Final (held last year in Shanghai!) while the males will be off on an all-expenses-paid trip to Milan to walk at Men’s Fashion Week for some of the world’s most celebrated designers.

One lucky female finalist will also be chosen to be the face of Look beauty, the new make-up range from Look magazine. The campaign will be featured in Superdrug stores nationwide plus advertising. Furthermore, the winner will receive a modelling contract with Elite, plus an editorial spread in Look.
