MAC Cosmetics launch first permanent nail lacquer collection

Nail art is huge at the moment and right on time, MAC Cosmetics launch their first permanent nail lacquer collection. Until now, nail polish has never been the brand’s focus, instead limited edition polishes were offered as part of the numerous collections offered every year, as well as eight shades that are available all year round.

The beauty brand’s debut collection consists of 30 unique shades in pearl, frost and cream finishes, as well as an Overlacquer, a fast drying high-gloss top coat that amplifies MAC Nail Lacquer’s finish with added protection against everyday wear and tear. From dark autumnal hues to trendy neons, soft pastels and vibrant glitters and metallics, the collection gives every polish lover something to love. According to MAC’s website: “MAC’s first permanent Nail Lacquer collection delivers shades that are hard, fast and gorgeous — keeping on point in the of-the-moment finishes in pearl, frost and cream. From trendy to timeless, there’s a shade for every mood.”

The revolutionary new high-gloss formula that provides a no-streak and no-chip finish, with added conditioners and UV protection.

My personal favourites include Skin, a light peachy flesh-coloured nude in a cream finish that’s perfect for French manicures or on its own as an everyday colour; Mean and Green, a duo-chrome purple and teal glitter shade with a pearl finish and Vintage Vamp, a dark burgundy — match it with dark glossy lips and it’s perfect for a night on the town!

Available now in store and via the website, priced individually at £10 each.
