We Three Club – The one-stop poster club
We remember the days here at The Upcoming when we used to search through laminate upon laminate in HMV and Virgin Megastores looking for posters to colour our walls at home. Then, We Three Club happened. Set up by husband-and-wife duo Alex and Chris White, We Three Club is the ultimate online poster dream and we couldn’t wait to share it with you.
Alex graduated from the London College of Fashion in 2005 after completing her studies in Make-up for TV and Film. However, despite finding a love for all things surreal and gory, Alex’s heart was always in illustrating. Mixing this with her love for music, Alex’s influence within the music industry has been huge. Chris similarly studied towards a degree in Fine Art at Kingston University whilst developing an obsession with posters of a psychedelic nature. The combination of the pair resulted in the creation of this delightful label and a truly unique touch on poster art.
The vast range of bands the duo has designed for is mind-blowing. From Art Brut to Foals, Alex and Chris have managed to turn their skill with a pen into a legacy. Chris’ line of work has included drawing for Manchester City and Alex for the ready meal company COOK, with exceptionally impressive results.
With their own We Three Club products to buy online, it’s fair to say we expect to see a lot more from these two in the future.
