Finding a good pair of tights is always tricky. We either buy brightly coloured tights that never go with the rest of our wardrobe, or we stick to boring old black. Enter Gal Stern, a fresh and quirky take on the world of tights.

Created by textile designer Gal Stern, her modern and interesting designs make something ordinary, extraordinary. Gal uses a mixture of hand printing and colour techniques to create her designs and works mainly on cotton and nylon.

The Wild Collection showcases some of our favourite work from Gal. Consisting of five hand painted pairs of tights, themed with animals and the rainforest. We’ve never seen something so unique produced for our legs!

These Fish tights are scaled up on one side, with such beautiful detail and daring print.  “My design view gushes from my fascination with shapes and the way they attach, transform and create a surface,” Gal stated and we can certainly see her inspirations woven into her work.

Gal’s Flashback collection consists of a more classic and sophisticated approach. Using a colour scheme of gold, black and bronze these remain eye-catching, but are more subtle.

The goldfish tights are really quite something. With this gold speckled pattern, we just want to strut down the street with shiny legs. This will make you feel confident, elegant and feminine.

If you fancy something right on trend, why not go for these Knots tights from the Fractal collection. Giving the illusion and impression of tweed, you will slot right into the upcoming season.

So don’t just add tights to your outfit, let the tights become your outfit. Shop Gal Stern here.
