Carmen Marc Valvo is known in the fashion industry not to shock but to shine. The secret to his signature womenswear is elegance; this comes in the forms of cocktail dresses and grand couture gowns. His eveningwear can be found in the most dazzling of stores, including Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdales.

To name-drop would take forever but a few of the famous women to grace events with Valvo’s signature pieces are the likes of Beyoncé, Catherine Zeta- Jones and Eva Longoria.

Valvo stunned the crowd at the all-white venue on 7^th Avenue with his lace cocktail dresses and red carpet gowns. Inspiration for this collection included Asian origami, lace and brocade.

This collection is a far cry from the minimalist pieces from last fall and is a lot more grand and fearless especially with the chest pieces created from panels of glass and square cut sequins.

Carmen Marc Valvo’s collections always have a unique sense of elegance about them – with this one comes freedom too.
