Sakko’s unique and edgy accessories to die for

Sakko’s unique and edgy accessories to die for

Several years ago, two friends, who were graphic design students at the time, came to the end of their studies with the world ahead of them. Not wanting to spend the rest of their lives in front of a computer, they wanted to change the world, which got them thinking about what creative outlet they can use to do just that.

The pair discovered the ability to transform the famous ribbed, jersey fabric of their native Portugal, into trendy, affordable, unique neckwear shortly after relocating to Barcelona. They had found what they were looking for, and soon got to work to design beautiful, earthy, Mediterranean-styled accessories made from this wonderful materiel.

Every single item is handmade by women who are familiar with the proud traditions of Portuguese and Spanish textiles.

Needless to say, the fantastic Sakko’s popularity grew, and now sells in Europe and North America, including England (lucky us!).

The pairs’ success grew so much they have had to hire people in both Spain and America so they can both focus on the design side.

Their Spring/Summer collection is to die for, and their winter works are something everyone would want to wear while bracing the bitter winds and frost.

Our favourite has to be their Night collection, with dark gorgeous creations that will make any outfit look like it’s worth a million dollars. Slick, sophisticated and so well designed, we think everyone needs a Sakko in their wardrobe.

It’s not just us who thinks that either. Sakko has been featured in magazines and on TV shows across the globe, including Vogue only last month! Cosmopolitan, Foam magazine, The Feast and The Today Show – to name just a few of the world famous media to have showcased this marvelous fashion label to the world.

Sakko wanted to change the world, and with what they design, they are defiantly moving it towards looking greater and more stylish.
