In order to celebrate the arrival of the FARAH Vintage spring/ summer ’13 collection in selected stores, one of the greatest department stores on the high street in the UK, House of Fraser has an exciting opportunity for its customers. They are giving the first 20 customers who make a purchase over £50 in the London store an exclusive goodie bag containing various FARAH products.

For the vintage S/S’13, FARAH has looked towards the east, to the land of the rising sun, for inspiration. After the success of the autumn collection’s 50s theme, FARAH has developed their most recent collection by adding some of the extremes of Japanese fashion. By blending the machismo of 50s Americana with the brightness of Tokyo to create an inspired mash of print, pattern, texture and colour. FARAH manages to do this in an exciting way, by staying true to the brand’s urban British heritage.

In the UK in the 1970s, we saw the brand reach the cult status that it holds today. The original FARAH slack that was made from hopsack canvas became an immediate hit with the youth of Britain. Big across the music scene at the time, the slim cut and sharply tailored trouser was interpreted in various ways with many young “hipsters” adapting the trousers to their own style. Today, the FARAH label still holds the same heritage, quality and vigour it stood for back then. With a whole new generation of men throughout the world being drawn to the brand, we’re sure we won’t be seeing the end of FARAH anytime soon.

House of Fraser stores offering the goodie bags this weekend are Bristol, Plymouth, Cardiff, Hull and Croydon, with a different set of stores next weekend. Customers can also visit the FARAH Vintage Facebook page to be in with a chance to win a new summer wardrobe worth £500 by clicking here.
