Are you ready for the D-Day Blitz Party?

Pencil in Saturday 8th June into your diaries, as a special event is taking place in Great Suffolk Street, London – the D-Day Blitz Party.  This event will be coinciding with the 69th anniversary of D-Day, making it a very special day.Blitz 4

This event in June will be honouring and remembering Britain’s finest with 1940s music and dancing.  The venue will be transformed into an original wartime air shelter.  It will be fully completed with a swing dance hall for everyone who loves to dance, and there will also be two live music stages.  One of the rooms will be a bunker, so it will have sandbags, blackout curtains, search lights, oil lamps and military bunk beds – talk about originality. Blitz 2

Instead of having a regular menu, the menus will actually be ration books and scare provisions will line the walls. This all brings the authentic feel to the event and you too can be a part of something special.Blitz 3

The evening will be full of talented live swing bands, performers and DJs that will put you in the mood to dance and move.  There will also be a spitfire bar, which will quench your thirst with British ale and champagne, along with having plenty of snacks to munch on during the evening! Blitz 1

To make the event very distinctive there will be a room dedicated to original newsreels and war films so you can get that authentic wartime feel. There’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Now the dress code is simple, it’s 1940s glam and also home front utility clothing and allied uniform. This is an event not to be missed if you want to enjoy a spirit filled evening for only £20 per person.

Ladies take out your fancy, glamorous clothes and men, be prepared with your uniforms for a night of music, dance, good food and live music.
