FittaMamma: new fitness range for active soon-to-be-mothers

A unique range of maternity fitnesswear, launched by FittaMamma, will be showcased during 1st and 14th August at 387 King’s Road, Chelsea.

The target market was located due to a large gap in the fashion industry, as maternity fitnesswear is not catered for as thoroughly as it should be. Fashionable maternity wear has become more accessible in high-street stores and has made designers more aware for the demand for pregnant women’s needs. It was only a matter of time before active wear for soon-to-be-mothers required attention as it needs to be extra comfortable and appropriate to work out in.

FittaMamma’s new fitness range actually meets those needs and supports the baby bump, lessening the weight on the back and shoulders, which are the main problem areas for pregnant women. Active clothing that feels and looks good is definitely a weight off the shoulders. Only soft and natural materials are used with a “cool dry” moisture management technology so that the mothers-to-be feel fresh and comfortable for as long as possible. The material stretches and adapts as the baby bump increases, due to the stretchy elastane, so they can be worn throughout the entire pregnancy.

These clothes will make you feel great and add a little something extra to that pregnancy glow. From vibrant colours to summer whites and conservative black and grey, there is a wide range to choose from. They do not have to be worn just at the gym as they are stylish enough to be worn en route to the gym or just to lounge in at home. Just add a few accessories and there’s your summer wardrobe done! FittaMamma claims to “provide positive support for the bump, lifting the weight and holding it comfortably in much the same way a bra lifts and holds your boobs”.
