Craft and Culture are dedicated to introducing talented designers that hand craft their products from the finest materials to likeminded audiences and their newest lookbook collaboration has us raiding our bank accounts!

Craft and Culture features emerging designers from all over the world and provides a platform for others to explore and purchase from the brands. The site is focused on promoting quality design and craftsmanship and firmly believes in handcrafted over mass produced, and this is something that the newest brand they’ve chosen to feature, Reif, can definitely identify with.

Reif is based in Portland in the US and the Craft and Culture lookbook shows off their new turban-style accessories and some really beautiful prints. The collection includes the Constellation Turban which is just stunning and was conceived especially for Craft and Culture.

Founded by Lindsey Reif, the brand is peppered with elements of small town life and has grown from the things that she loves. Her everyday experiences fuse together perfectly with pieces of the past and modern silhouettes to create a brand that’s truly unique.

Reif has already seen some success and has been featured in everything from editorial shoots to music videos, but Lindsey still admits to being excited at her new collaboration and is thrilled to have created her range of turbans. Lindsey said of her work: “As a designer I strive to create pieces that are timeless yet modern and relevant with what’s going on in fashion.  I wanted to expand my brand into accessories while keeping these design goals in mind and the turban is the perfect piece for that. In winter they are great for keeping your ears warm and in summer they will be your best friends on the beach.  They’re the perfect accessory for busy women who refuse to compromise when it comes to fashion and that’s exactly the kind of woman I design for.”

They might be the perfect year-round accessory, but the beautifully vibrant patterns have us immediately thinking of summer! Pick your favourite turban, grab some friends and head to the beach because there’s nothing wrong with wanting to extend summer just a little bit longer!
