The Shoreditch Fashion Show at Oval Space

The Shoreditch Fashion Show at Oval Space

The alternative Shoreditch Fashion Show put on an electric performance at the Oval Space with a huge and wide collection of the most talented young designers, artist, musicians and DJs. As we ventured through the room, we seemed to be surrounded by beautiful art that would allude any eye with a variety of sculptures and photography to light art that created a wonderful setting. From the very start the music was ace; why would it be any other way? With a huge variety of musicians and DJs to suit all tastes, a savage line-up kept the vibe real.

We also saw an amazing display of animation work from Dom and Ink, which to our delight you could colour in. A few drinks in, and everyone was trying to complement his work. If you arrived with bad hair you left with good hair, as they had a pop-up salon by Bastille.

Mid-evening the fashion show displayed an incredibly fierce runway with a mesh backdrop, which had that alternative feel to it displaying six different designers and six collections. Alternative was taken to the highest level, with beautiful fits that flowed ever so well. The silhouettes and the creativity from these talented designers was spectacular, an epic end to good night. An annual event we’ll  have in the calendar for next year.
