If someone asked you who Bwoy Wonder is, would you have any idea? If not, you’re about to be introduced to a very interesting character.

UNDERGROUND X BWOY WONDER PUNK MANNEQUINBwoy Wonder is the creator of the legendary Lego Brick Chains – originally designed from pendants that he used to make when he was a child. He is also the creative director behind the clothing brand Lyrics4Lyrics, a line that is aimed at those who like to stand out from the crowd. Clients have included Russell Simmons, Pharrell Williams, Ludacris and P.Diddy. Bwoy Wonder is renowned for his innovative use of Lego. From brick-embellished snapback caps and printed Lego onesies, through to the infamous Lego epaulets sported by Will.I.Am, Bwoy Wonder has single-handedly revolutionised the fashion world with his love for the childhood toy.

Bwoy WonderWell, now Bwoy Wonder has become involved in Fashion’s Night Out. Fashion retailers Lane Crawford, in collaboration with Vogue China, played host to Fashion’s Night Out in their Hong Kong International Finance Centre store. The event, which was established in 2009 by Vogue magazine, is already a success in London and New York, and launched last year in Hong Kong. This year was even bigger and better, with a host of special guests flying in including London-based nail specialist Charlotte Knight and New York performance artists The Bumbys. The Underground x Bwoy Wonder Punk mannequin was flown over to keep an eye on proceedings before he was deployed at Lane Crawford, Shanghai, which opened at the end of last month.

If Shanghai is a bit too far to go, just check out the mannequin. But if you’re interested in Bwoy Wonder’s clothing and jewellery, head over to his website now to see some seriously cool items.
