Doggy style: Paige for Mungo & Maud launch party in Notting Hill

Luxury pet boutique, Mungo & Maud, has collaborated with Paige Denim to create a charming collection for our favorite furry friends – the dogs.  Based in London and the US respectively, the brands came together to present a line of high-end dog accessories, which was celebrated last night at the Paige for Mungo & Maude launch party.

Once we heard the press launch was a pet-friendly event, we couldn’t resist and headed down to Mungo & Maude’s Notting Hill location to play with some pups and preview the collection.  Two full-sized Great Dane’s greeted us at the entrance, and we mingled in a leash-entangled play date with some of the neighborhood’s cutest canines.

The collection consists of adorable dog bones and beds in home-friendly, signature Paige Denim Prints: Stripe, Rose and Sundial.  The beds are available in three sizes, the “large” being a favourite of the Labrador attendee who made the display his resting spot for the event.  There were treats for the pets and champagne for their owners – a fitting light-hearted luxe gathering for the launch of the collaboration.

Paige Adams Geller, co-founder and creative director of Paige Denim, comments: “I fell in love with Mungo & Maud a few years back when visiting the UK. I adore their luxury accessories due to their quality, attention to detail and charm. So when Nicola reached out to me about the collaboration, I couldn’t resist! With four dogs of my own, one named London and a second named Chelsea, I knew it was meant to be. I know what my girls will be getting for Christmas this year!”

Co-founder and creative director of Mungo & Maud, Nicola Sacher, adds:  “The opportunity to collaborate on this original concept is so exciting for Mungo & Maud, and I love the idea of dogs sleeping in their ‘jeans.”

No bones about it, Paige for Mungo & Maude is an edgy, yet understated collection both you and your pooch will love.

The collection is now available at Mungo & Maud online and retail stores, Harrods and Paige Denim stores in the US.
