NYFW – Clover Canyon A/W 2014 collection

Not too many fashion brands can combine original prints, new technology and craftsmanship all into the final product of a collection and actually make it work – but Clover Canyon can.h-623_w-360 (10)

With that relaxing Californian air, the company designs and produces right from sketch to the last seam in Los Angeles, making this atelier particular and unique.h-623_w-360 (5)

As a celebration of beauty, the autumn/winter 2014 collection reaffirms not only this appropriate connotation, but also a celebration of outsider magic.h-623_w-360 (8)

Standing over a natural oval greenish platform, the 30 looks synthesised a vivid and engaging spirit from the signature engineered prints.h-623_w-360 (10)

Pleat-shouldered dresses, mid-calf skirts and shawl-collared robes remind us of Oscar Wilde and the  tropical pyjama pants in weight-worsted wool of James Joyce. These shapes have an appealing sum between comfortable nécessité and modern ease. Medium black socks and platform walkable shoes complement every outfit making these clothes ready for an endless voyage.
