Emmy Twenty: the ballet pump you’ve been looking for

Emmy Twenty: the ballet pump you’ve been looking for

When Sharon Sunners started working in London, she found herself losing her office wear heels in-between pavements and tube doors. Following this, she soon began to wear ballet pumps for comfort and ease, enjoying to be able to slip them in her handbag. Her obsession with the classic, feminine style of the ballerina pump was born and grew each time she searched for that practical -but pretty – pair of shoes.

After searching online and in the high street for the perfect pair of ballet pumps that would give her the flair and comfort that she wanted, Sharon found that well-made leather flat shoes were rather pricey. She spoke to her friends, colleagues and eventually even to shoppers on Oxford Street. When they confirmed her initial feelings, she believed that there was a gap in the market for fashionable leather flats that above all else, were affordable. This is where the idea of Emmy Twenty was born.

Finding a creative outlet during a London commute, Sharon began spending three hours a day designing pieces for her brand. Concentrating on the ballerina style, Emmy Twenty delivers timeless, classic shoes that suit women of all ages. The designs are made with a leather upper, a cushioned leather insole and are structured for support. They are stylish but practical, offering an alternative to any woman on the go who wants to keep her style both chic and comfortable.

Emmy Twenty’s current collection boats exquisitely made, stylish flat ballerina pumps that will get you noticed. Whether you are a leopard print fan, wear studs, neutral tones or prefer something brighter – there is a pair for you.

This month, Emmy Twenty are offering something a little bit different. In support of Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month during March, a limited edition teal shoe has been designed. For each pair that is purchased, Emmy Twenty will be donating £5.00 to Ovarian Cancer Awareness.
