A Grimm Halloween Party at The Grand Hall St Pancras

Mixology masters Bourne & Hollingsworth did it again on Saturday night, with A Grimm Halloween Party at The Grand Hall St Pancras. Ghoulish, outrageous and booze-fuelled, b&hit was a night of creepy cocktails, daring fancy dress and shocking theatrical performances. The ballroom was kitted out like an 18th century hall, and the cabaret room mashed glamour with lunacy for a night of raucous entertainment from burlesque performers and unusual dancers.

The swing band played behind a curtain, backlit with an eerie orange glow, and costumed revellers swirled and mingled around the pyre that embellished the centre of the room. Sinister creatures – snakes and cockroaches – crawled in the menagerie, and long benches adorned with dripping candles and tempting red apples set the scene for a fatal banquet. The fancy dress, as ever, was above and beyond the expected, with Beetlejuice, long-dead vampires and the undead all making an appearance.

With Blitz Party, Prohibition and Belle Époque on the cards, and if you love theatrics, exquisite cocktails and dressing up, a Bourne & Hollingsworth night is one for you.
