The brightly coloured, instantly recognisable face pack sachets on sale in numerous high street stores have become something of a national institution in the British beauty industry; and in the 30 years since Montagne Jeunesse was established have been embraced worldwide.

This year products have been rebranded under the name 7th Heaven to celebrate 30 years of business after the Rename the Baby campaign was launched in 2013. From only £1 per sachet, they’re incredibly cost-effective and convenient, especially for first time users or anyone wanting to try out something different from the range.

The price also allows for a mix-and-match approach to pampering, and with so many different face masks to try, catering for all skin types across a range of products has added to the popularity of 7th Heaven.

With approximate sales of 30,000 per day in the UK alone, 7th Heaven was recently named as one of the best-selling cosmetic brands ever, and is a low-cost favourite for many as a beauty go-to. Widely available, the company’s products largely centre on their signature face masks which are sold across a number of outlets in 80 countries globally.

The company was founded in 1985 by Gregory Butcher and the ethical principles guiding the company’s ethos are driven by awareness of the impact of modern production methods on the environment at micro and macro levels. The brand has the approval and backing of PETA, the Vegetarian Society and the British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection, and has campaigned vigorously against climate change.

7th Heaven’s commitment to utilising only natural ingredients has not only ensured a faithful customer base, but a range of products which look and smell delicious as well as being great skin treats. From a portfolio including dead sea mud packs, peel-off masques, self-heating sauna formulas and fruit-based goodies, with benefits from anti-stress and conditioning to refining pores and detoxing, it’s easy to see why so many people are in love with brand.

Top five masks

Cucumber peel-off face masque: Pulped cucumbers and juiced citrus goodness to give your skin a blast of freshness and help remove dirt and grime. Gently peel off this face mask weekly to reveal a fresh and revived new you. £1

Amore rose face masque: Calming oils from damask rose petals and deep cleansing marula oil combine to hydrate and smooth the skin. Shea and cocoa butter moisturise and deeply cleanse to leave skin soft and silky smooth. Use weekly. £1

Fudge sauna self-heating face masque: Absorb the sweet aroma, sit back and relax as the heavenly formula opens pores and deep cleanses, leaving your skin so clean it almost glows. £1

Iced crystal face masque: Spearmint and cooling menthol cleanse and tone your skin while exfoliating dead sea crystals gently refresh and renew your skin. £1

Red earth clay spa: Prepare your skin for a truly incredible, fresh pulped and juiced, deep cleansing journey. They’ve infused Mediterranean clay with spicy cinnamon and pulped pomegranates to protect. This juicy boost will captivate your skin and senses. £1.49
