Collar Club: a made-to-measure shirt delivery and laundry service

London-based online start-up, Collar Club, is a premium subscription service which offers high quality men’s shirts, designed in Britain and manufactured by the finest shirt makers in Italy.

At the start of each new membership, Collar Club will supply members with 11 Italian-crafted, bespoke shirts. At the end of the working week, any five shirts may be collected to be laundered, folded, packed and delivered back to your home or office, in time for the cycle to begin again.

Ideal for city workers, who desire style and convenience (or just dislike washing and ironing), these shirts boast 100% Egyptian cotton, a high stitch count and lowered second button, created under the expertise of traditional shirt makers.

Five classic fabrics and two styles are available if ordering ready-to-wear: white twill, pale blue twill, blue gingham, white and blue stripe and white poplin. Additionally, there is a made-to-order service that allows a choice between slim and tailored fits and a brace of collar and cuff styles.

The shirts start at an eminently reasonable £59 (minimum order three) with the additional London-wide laundry service bringing the monthly outlay to £95.

Our shirt arrived promptly, packaged securely in a smart box with cheerfully coloured tissue paper and a cleverly printed wrapper. The crisp, white twill featured a cut-away collar, adding a welcome contemporary element to its classic fit and luxurious quality. Meanwhile, other detailing was impeccable, and buttons sturdy, with a practical, secure lock-stitch to withstand day wear. After-work socialising is made easy, with the use of a lowered second button, for an instantaneous formal-to-casual look without a tie.

Collar Club is ideal for the modern man, whose busy schedule means he does not have time for the trivia of life, yet still takes pride in his appearance. When that planned day-to-night wardrobe change is prevented, following an unexpected delay at work, Collar Club’s appeal is immense.
