Tonight, the beautiful Pier 59 Studios was hosting a presentation of a luxurious brand Pamella Roland. However, at the last moment, the brand decided to host a runway show, leaving many attendees who leisurely strolled in behind closed doors. Eventually, the brand ran two shows to accommodate the guests.

This change of plans seemed to be well worth it. Pamella DeVos, the designer and the president of the brand Pamella Roland presented another chic, exquisite collection of luxurious eveningwear and cocktail dresses. Since its launch in 2002, the brand quickly became a favourite of celebrities and TV personalities, receiving a prestigious Gold Coast Award in 2003, after just two years of operation. It is not surprising since the woman behind is dynamic, elegant and confident. She strives to create clothing for like-minded women, who exude elegance, beauty and strength.

The spring/summer 2017 collection was equally as sophisticated. DeVos brought to the runway sensual sequin ivory and tender green gowns, strapless and V-neck jumpsuits, black cocktail dresses and mermaid gowns. To add some modernity to the looks, the designer used leather details and jackets with  structured shoulders.

Beautiful pearl straps holding parts of the dresses looked refreshingly feminine and delicate. DeVos showed several off-shoulder dress looks, indicating that the current popular trend will continue well into 2017.
