Available in 16 beautifully subtle and stand-out shades, there is definitely something to suit every skin tone and personality. Priced at just £12.50, each kit includes an applicator, gloss bond and enough fine glitter for 25 applications.

You might presume application would be tricky but, in fact, it couldn’t be simpler. First, paint the glossy glue straight on to dry, clean lips (one at a time) and wait around ten seconds for the glue to turn transparent. Then, dip the brush into the pot of glitter and gently pat on to your lips until you achieve your desired look. Bold and dramatic, you’re guaranteed to get all the attention with this lip colour.

Top tip: use a lip liner before applying the glitter to ensure a neat edge.

We were extremely impressed with the total ease of this process. Surprisingly, the glitter dried to a smooth, almost silky finish that could barely be felt on the lips – and it looked incredible! We also happily ate and drank with no fall-out or smudging to be seen. Glitter Lips promises to stay put for eight hours, and it certainly seemed as though it would.
