Gossip Girl: Blair and Serena’s best outfits

If you were a fan of Gossip Girl, you’ll know that Blair and Serena’s fashion choices really made the show. Six seasons inspired us with beautiful and outlandish noughties trends, including oversized ruffles, clashing prints and slinky dresses. Here are our top style moments.

This is one of our most favourite outfits, and one we have tried to recreate. Blair Waldorf’s ruffle top only made us want to be her, and honestly, it is the dream monochrome look.

Blair’s bright orange Oscar de la Renta dress was a masterpiece and one of the most iconic outfits in the entire series. Leighton Meester wears the dress; the dress definitely doesn’t wear her.

This is another Oscar de la Renta gown, but it is just so pretty. The structure of the dress is simple but graceful, and made Blair look very much like the princess she played.

Wearing a white dress can be difficult, but Serena van der Woodsen pulls it off perfectly. The Grecian-style front and long, flowing length create a breathtaking look.

When Serena appeared in this Jenny Packham spring/summer 2012 gown, it was love at first sight. The beautiful lemon shade certainly made an impression – and with good reason!

Proving yellow really is her colour, Serena looked stunning in this floral ruffle dress by Ralph Lauren. We love the bold accessories and flower corsage.

It’s safe to say that it is a draw between Blair and Serena, and we’ll be leaving the ball gown-wearing to the professionals. We can still dream though!
